LYMPHEDEMA SPECIALIST
Christy Hein is a Lymphatic Care Specialist. The lymphatic
system is important to your body's immune function, and it is where the "good
cells" are created and “bad cells” are destroyed and filtered to move out from
your body. There are many applications of manual lymphatic therapy for the body.
This site will focus primarily on lymphedema, but please recognize that there
are many other applications for this therapy.

Healing Arts Institute located in Citrus
Heights, California. She also specializes in Lymphedema MLD Therapy, Swedish Massage,
Raindrop, Shiatsu, Acupressure, Hot Stone, Myofascial Release.
 Prior to becoming a lymphedema specialist and massage
and acupressure therapist, Christy Hein was a fire fighter and paramedic. She also teaches CPR
and First Aid. Christy's medical background gives her a unique ability to
understand how the body systems can become diseased and self heal through manual
lymph drainage, pure essential oils, and other holistic practices.
